Here, in addition to a good espresso you can enjoy cakes and traditional sweets and an endless selection of chocolate and pralines.
With a full belly is time to do some shopping to find a really fabulous shop! ‘Wait and see’ in via Santa Maria 14: a store that looks like decorated with the warmth of a home, where all proposals for sale are unique pieces from around the world and chosen personally by the founder Uberta Zambelletti famous in the Italian fashion brands. “Wait and see”!
After shopping, why not to see the famous ‘Columns of San Lorenzo’? Follow Via Torino, famous youthful shopping street thanks to the many chain stores, and you will quickly reach the destination! Impossible not to notice them from afar, stand proudly and ancient on the background of Porta Ticinese, one of the few still in existence.
Around the columns there are lots of vintage shops where you can look around, but after a long walk hunger calls, so it’s time to have a quick lunch at California Bakery near Piazza XIV Maggio.
While back towards the Duomo dwell in a store where everything shines.! Atelier VM in via Correnti 26: we are talking about very beautiful design jewelry, it required at least a look!
During your walk to the apartment taking Via Torino, it will be time for an aperitif! Take a small side street (Via S. Sisto) and you will arrive in Piazza Mentana, where you will find the famous kiosk of the square. This small little bar is renowned for its fresh and tasty cocktails and the friendly atmosphere in the summer evenings. Today we stop here, sipping a spicy mojito but we will meet again soon….in the next district!
