THE SEARCH FOR SIMPLICITY AND ESSENTIALITY
GET IN FOR FREE EVERY FIRST SUNDAY OF THE MONTH
In April 2015, Giorgio Armani opened Armani/Silos to mark 40 years of his career. The exhibition area was a former granary measuring 4.500 square meters on 4 levels. The preference is for regular, sober and elegant geometric shapes reflecting the designer’s style that has always focused on eliminating everything that is superfluous. Armani/Silos offers an overview of over 40 years of the genius’s career including 400 outfits and 200 accessories from Giorgio Armani’s ready-to-wear collections from 1980 to the present. The fashion creations are grouped around three themes that have recurred over the years and keep on shaping his collections: Androgynous, Ethnicities and Stars. The space also hosts many other international artists so please check periodically the show schedule on the official site: Armani universe expands way beyond fashion!
Armani Silos support the initiative Sunday at the Museum in 2019 by the City of Milan and therefore the entrance is free every first Sunday of the Month.
