Just as the Salone del Mobile, the Fuorisalone has a fundamental role in Milan Design Week.
Fuorisalone means, in fact, the set of all the events related to the design world distributed throughout Milan. From Zona Tortona to Via Ventura and Lambrate, the city transforms itself into a large exhibition space where emerging designers propose their own ideas.
The Fuorisalone has not only a central organization but is born spontaneously from the will of companies and design studios. From the ’80s to today it has grown more and more, becoming an event enjoyed all over the world.
Here you can find the complete guide to the events.
Brera Design District
Even the Brera area has earned a prominent role in the schedule of the Fuorisalone.
The neighborhood is the heart of art and handicraft in town, but also hosts all year round design studios.
In recent years Brera Design District has become one of the most active and rich in events areas. New trends in design, décor and contemporary art, combined with the beauty of the streets of Brera, with its cafes and restaurants: what can you ask more?
Our apartments are located in strategic points of the district and are the perfect accommodation choice for those who want to live at 100% the experience of Milan Design Week. From our San Marco Apartment, for example, you can explore on foot the active exhibitions in all the streets, coming up to the Castello Sforzesco and the Triennale.
